It is a structured session intended to explore what issue brings the Consultant to your home. I would urge the main carer(s) to be present, but, not the children to listen to the conversation. At the end of the session we will discuss how you want to address your issue and which service may help.

Price - £35.00 first hour (£30.00 if subsequent hours)
If you want your child(ren) to change their behaviour it will require you to think about what it is you expect of them, and an investment of your time and energy to bring about that change. Main carer(s) to be present, and again children not to be present to listen to the conversation.

New Beginnings

For ‘new’ parents to explore their experience of parenting; feelings, thoughts and expectations and consider coping mechanisms, adjustments in relationships and future plans.

Touchlearn Baby Massage
Location - at clients home
Price £25.00* per hour session
From 8-weeks onwards (after the baby check by the GP). Communicate with
your baby through touch, a wonderful way to bond and to get to know your
baby. The session demonstrates how to massage the baby in stages, suitable
oils, benefits and cautions. A workbook is provided to demonstrate the techniques
and a disk with additional information is included in the price. (Ideal for a group of
friends with babies, additional workbooks available).

Price - £35.00 the first hour* (£30.00 subsequent hours)
If you find your resolve weakens when giving commands, establishing routines and household rules then this service may be suitable for you. This contact is about building on your strengths, increasing your self-awareness (feelings and thoughts) introducing a fresh perspective.

Incredible Years Parenting Programme
Duration – 12 weeks
Price per person £15.00 per week or Per couple £25.00
Group of no more than 10 parents
Background information: The Incredible Years Parenting Programme is a course designed by Dr Carolyn Webster-Stratton, Ph.D., an American Child Psychologist.
Age Range: Suitable for parents with children 3 – 8 years of age
Course Details: A 12-week evening course, 2 hours per week, with different themes each week. Week 1 – 6 focuses on promoting positive behaviour.
Week 7 onwards is managing misbehaviour. Parents are requested to complete
a brief work sheet.
Included in the price: “The Incredible Years – A trouble shooting guide for Parents of children aged 3 – 8 years - book, a work-booklet, refreshments and a certificate on completion.
